Payables
From Tailwind Wiki
|
OverviewPayables in Tailwind represent money that you owe. Individual Payable Charges are contained within a Bill, which can be related to an Order/Invoice, a Dispatch, or entered into the system as a completely independent record. Payables are most commonly associated with a dispatch, representing driver or carrier pay. Payables associated to an order typically represent third-party costs associated to a given movement of freight, such as cross-docking fees. Payables related to neither an Order or Dispatch, represent external costs, not associated directly to a movement of freight. This would include Insurance, Fuel, etc. A searchable list of all payables within the system is available in the Payables List Common TasksAccessing Records Creating and Modifying Records
