HOWTO: Install CMS for use by multiple windows users on the same machine

This article explains how to install the CMS client on a Windows machine that will be used by multiple Windows users.

  1. Log into Windows as a user with administrative privileges.
  2. Download the CMS client, and save it to the C:\Temp\ directory on the hard drive (do not open it immediately).
  3. Click on your Start menu and click "Run". Type "cmd" and press enter.
  4. At the command prompt, type "cd C:\Temp" and press enter.
  5. Type "TAILWIND_CMS_4_0.MSI ALLUSERS=1" and press enter.
  6. CMS will be installed on the computer and will be accessible to all users.
