Overview

The Customer List displays customer data, based upon search criteria.

By default, this list does not load automatically, but instead requires that filtering criteria be defined before information is displayed. This can be achieved by clicking the binoculars in the Horizontal Toolbar, or by entering data into the quick search fields above some columns.

Alternatively, favourites can be set to load the list with a default set of contents. To set the records you wish to see each time this list loads, check the Fav box next to the desired record.

Functionality

Many tasks can be accomplished in a list by using the Horizontal Toolbar.

ButtonFunctionality
New Form
Clicking the New Form button while on the Customer List will create a new record.
Search
The binoculars allow for searching of a list. See Searching for full details, along with some common search examples.
Cancel
The loading of a list can be stopped by clicking the Stop button. This is especially helpful on large lists, or when the data you desire is at the top of a list.
Refresh
The contents of a list can be refreshed by clicking the Refresh button. This will update the list based upon any searching or filtering criteria that has been applied. To Reset the list to its original state, click the small black down arrow beside the refresh button and select Reset List.
Print
The contents of any list can be printed as it exists on the screen by clicking the Print button. See Printing for full details.

Additional operations are available by right-mouse clicking a record in the list.

Customization

As with all lists within the system, the Customer List can be customized to best suit the needs of your business. Drag columns to their desired positions, add or remove columns by clicking the COL button in the bottom right corner of the list, and change field sizes by clicking in the margin between two columns and dragging appropriately.
