Vancouver, Canada. (November, 2008) -- Tailwind Management Systems, Inc., a leading provider of software solutions for logistics and trucking companies, announced today new strategic partnerships that will further enhance the ACE e-Manifest capabilities of their flagship product, Tailwind CMS.
Tailwind has successfully developed software and e-solutions for businesses in the trucking and brokerage industries since 2001. Tailwinds core offering, CMS, provides users with the ability to record and dispatch shipments, invoice customers, pay carriers and drivers, export financial transactions to third-party accounting applications and run detailed operational and financial reports.
The exciting new Integrated Trade Declaration functionality will further enhance CMS operational feature set by allowing immediate Automated Customs Environment (ACE) submissions from directly inside the software by way of Tailwind-approved partners. This move marks a dedicated collaboration to reduce client operating costs, while ensuring data integrity and minimizing the time and resources required for cross-border shipment notification.
"ACE eManifest functionality enhancements have been made available in Tailwind CMS 5.4, and will provide immediate benefit for all customers moving cross-border shipments. We've developed a business-to-government communications process that makes full use of data already entered into our system", said Matt Chambers, Operations Manager at Tailwind. "We've removed the need for duplicate data entry and effectively turned ACE eManifest submissions into a single-click operation."
