What's New

US Customs & Border Protection Agency (CBP) has published a Federal Register Notice announcing new ports that will require E-manifests. Read on to find out when you will be affected and how you can prepare.

Also of note, CBP are now requiring empty trucks to submit a valid ACE e-Manifest before crossing southbound. In this month's tip, we show you how to submit e-Manifests for border crossings with no shipments.

On April 19th, 2007, e-Manifests will be mandatory in the second group: all land border ports of entry in the states of Texas, California, and New Mexico. CBP will release additional notices regarding mandatory e-Manifest dates for additional ports in the Federal Register 90 days in advance of implementation.

Our partner Oceanwide works closely with US and CDN customs, ensuring that you are always in compliance. Truck e-Manifest includes advanced alerting functionality, unlimited storage and it's fully integrated with CMS.

Note: The dispatcher is ultimately responsible for the accurate transmission of the manifest, not the broker, the exporter, or the importer so it is very important that the manifest is done right and on time. If you are currently moving goods across any of the borders listed above, contact us to learn how you can get registered and ready to meet this requirement.
